Calendar Days to Celebrate in January!

Message From Our C.E.O.

Dear Springs of Arkansas Family,

As we begin 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible holiday season we just shared across our healthcare facilities. The spirit of joy and celebration that filled our communities during Christmas and New Year’s was truly heartwarming.

Watching our residents, their families, and our dedicated staff come together to create magical moments during the holiday celebrations reinforced what makes The Springs of Arkansas so special. The festive decorations, shared meals, special performances, and
countless moments of connection demonstrated the deep sense of community that defines our facilities.

I was particularly moved by our Awards Ceremony in mid-December. This event gave us the opportunity to recognize the outstanding team members who consistently go above and beyond in their service to our residents. Your dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence are the foundation of the quality care we provide. To those who received awards – thank you for setting such a high standard. To every team member – your daily contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

As we move forward into 2025, I am filled with gratitude and optimism. The dedication I’ve witnessed across our facilities gives me complete confidence that we will continue to enhance the lives of those we serve. The Springs of Arkansas isn’t just a healthcare
provider – we’re a family, united in our mission to provide outstanding care with compassion and dignity.

Thank you to our incredible staff, our residents’ families, and everyone who contributes tomaking The Springs of Arkansas a special place. Your commitment to excellence and
genuine care for others makes all the difference.

Here’s to another year of creating meaningful moments and providing exceptional care.
Warmest regards,

Chaim Herzberg

Advantage of New Year's Resolutions!

Setting New Year’s Resolutions Helps Seniors Embrace Life’s Possibilities

Starting fresh in January isn’t just for younger generations – New Year’s resolutions can have profound benefits for senior citizens, offering renewed purpose and excitement for the year ahead. For older adults, the act of setting goals and looking toward the future plays a vital role in maintaining mental wellness and life satisfaction.Studies show that having something to strive for helps seniors maintain cognitive function and emotional wellbeing. When older adults make resolutions, they actively engage in life planning rather than viewing their senior years as a time of decline. This forward-thinking mindset can combat depression and isolation while promoting a sense of control over one’s life journey.Common and beneficial resolutions for seniors often include staying physically active, learning new hobbies, spending more time with family, or volunteering in their communities. These goals help maintain social connections and give each day more meaning and structure. Even simple resolutions like reading more books or practicing a new skill can provide mental stimulation and a sense of accomplishment. The process of setting resolutions also encourages seniors to reflect on their values and what matters most to them. This self- reflection can lead to more intentional living and greater life satisfaction. Whether the goals are large or small, the act of planning for the future helps seniors maintain optimism and enthusiasm for life’s continuing adventures.Healthcare providers note that when seniors approach the new year with purpose and anticipation, they often experience better health outcomes. The combination of hope and concrete goals can motivate seniors to stay active, engage with others, and maintain healthy habits throughout the year.As we begin 2025, senior living communities across the country are encouraging residents to embrace the tradition of New Year’s resolutions. By looking forward with hope and purpose, seniors demonstrate that every stage of life offers opportunities for growth, learning, and joy.The message is clear: age should never be a barrier to dreaming, planning, and working toward new goals. New Year’s resolutions provide seniors with a framework to continue living life to the fullest, proving that the desire for self-improvement and personal growth knows no age limit.
