Message from our C.E.O. Chaim Herzberg

Dear Springs of Arkansas Family,

Like all of you, I entered into the healthcare industry because I believed in the ability to effect change and help improve people’s lives. This was my approach at the beginnings of my career, and they remain a steadfast priority at The Springs of Arkansas.

It is for these reasons that our corporate team was excited for the challenge of helping to transform one of the facilities that we acquired nearly 3 years ago.

In July 2021, The Springs of Arkansas proudly took the reins of The Springs of John Barrow, a facility that had previously carried the Special Focus Facility (SFF) designation. Since assuming ownership, The Springs of Arkansas has embarked on a journey of commitment, compassion, and transformation.

We are thrilled to announce that through dedicated efforts and unwavering commitment to providing top-notch care, The Springs of John Barrow has successfully graduated from the SFF designation. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team at The Springs of Arkansas.

Congratulations to The Springs of John Barrow for this incredible accomplishment! In particular, I want to recognize the following two individuals who with steadfast leadership guided this mission. Tyler Vallery, the Administrator at The Springs of John Barrow, and Taylor Lindsey, the Director of Nursing. To all the team members at John Barrow – Your commitment to excellence in healthcare is truly commendable, and this milestone reflects the dedication to creating an environment where residents receive the highest quality of care and support.

In January the State of Arkansas was hit with a cold blast of winter weather. While many of us experienced cold frigid temperatures, there were hundreds of acts of kindness performed by our team members that warmed up hearts. I was so proud to see emails that described how many of you watched for one another to ensure people were able to arrive safely to care for our residents. Many of you checked up on neighbors and loved ones, and additionally I came across multiple mentions on social media that described how our team members are simply on another level!

The Springs of Arkansas continues to set the standard for excellence in the industry, and we look forward to witnessing the positive impact your commitment to resident well-being will have on the community. Here’s to continued success, growth, and a future filled with compassion and care.

Warm regards,

Employee of the Month & Rising Star

The Hidden Beauty of Arkansas!

Deep in the heart of the South, nestled between the Ozark Mountains and the Ouachita National Forest, lies a hidden gem that doesn’t brag enough about its own charm – Arkansas! If you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing the beauty of this state, you’re missing out on a delightful blend of natural wonders, quirky attractions, and Southern hospitality with a side of humor.

The Great Outdoors: Where Nature Shows Off Its Wardrobe

Arkansas boasts some seriously Instagram-worthy landscapes. From the stunning Buffalo National River, where you can trade your car for a canoe and your suit for a swimsuit, to the mystical Hot Springs National Park, where Mother Nature decided to throw in a little spa treatment – Arkansas has it all. The Ozark Mountains, with their undulating hills and lush greenery, make you feel like you’re in a scene straight out of “The Sound of Music,” minus the singing nuns.

The Natural State’s Not-So-Natural Attractions

Sure, Arkansas is known for its natural beauty, but it also has some attractions that could only be dreamed up after a few too many glasses of sweet tea. Take, for instance, the world’s only public diamond mine in Murfreesboro, where you can try your luck at finding bling in the mud – move over, Tiffany’s, Arkansas is in the house.

And let’s not forget about the town of Eureka Springs, where the streets are as winding as your grandma’s stories, and Victorian architecture is more abundant than sweet tea on a summer day. Rumor has it, the town was built on a bet to see if someone could create a charming village that also doubles as a human-sized labyrinth. Challenge accepted and aced.

Southern Hospitality: Where Even the Trees Say “Howdy”

In Arkansas, hospitality isn’t just a word; it’s a way of life. If you’re walking down the street and someone gives you a friendly nod, that’s not just a nod – it’s an invitation to join them for some catfish at the local diner. And if you hear “bless your heart,” don’t be fooled; it might sound sweet, but it’s the Southern way of saying, “Oh honey, you really need to get your life together.”

Weather: Four Seasons in One Day? Challenge Accepted!

Arkansas weather is a bit like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re gonna get. One day you’re basking in the warmth of the sun, and the next, you’re digging out your winter coat because a cold front decided to drop by unannounced. But hey, it keeps life interesting. Plus, if you don’t like the weather in Arkansas, just wait a minute.

In conclusion, Arkansas may not be on everyone’s radar for a vacation destination, but those in the know understand that this state has a unique charm and beauty that’s as genuine as a front porch conversation. So, pack your bags, bring your sense of humor, and get ready to experience the beauty of Arkansas – where Southern hospitality meets natural wonders, and every day is a new adventure. Bless your heart if you haven’t been here yet!
